Bill Gates is back with another reading list for those of you looking for some good books to enjoy this summer.
The Microsoft co-founder recommends six titles that he’s read in 2014 and said that only one is your typical “beach read.”
The other five include the best business book Gates has ever read and others that touch on world issues like climate change and healthcare.
Here’s the list, in no particular order, linking to a few reviews written by Gates himself:
- Business Adventures, by John Brooks. Read Gates’ review here.
- Stress Test, by Timothy Geithner. Read Gates’ review here.
- The Bully Pulpit: Theodore Roosevelt, William Howard Taft, and the Golden Age of Journalism, by Doris Kearns Goodwin.
- The Rosie Project: A Novel, by Graeme Simsion
- The Sixth Extinction: An Unnatural History, by Elizabeth Kolbert.
- Reinventing American Health Care: How the Affordable Care Act Will Improve Our Terribly Complex, Blatantly Unjust, Outrageously Expensive, Grossly Inefficient, Error Prone System, by Ezekiel J. Emanuel.
